Grad Girls

May 30, 2009

I love their colorful dresses!  I remember for my grad I chose basic black…but that was WAAYY back then :)

It was great to be a part of their special day, and I’m glad they got to spend it together with friends as they got their hair & makeup done.  Elaine again did a super job on all 3 girls’ hair AND makeup!

We only did 2 jumping pictures, but they turned out to be my favorites, so here they are!

Some individual photos to start…but most of the photos we did of them were together.

Here are some hair and makeup shots of Jessalyn:

Those lashes look so lush!

What an adorable couple!

They were a bit shy at first, but quickly got the hang of us pointing cameras at them.  All you have to do is pretend we’re not there!

or close your eyes so you don’t see us!

Aren’t they sweet?  Jessalyn’s heels kept sinking and getting stuck in the grass/mud, so Jacky was a gentleman and carried her through it all.

This is one of my favorites…of many!

Here are some close-up shots of the makeup that Elaine did for these girls:  It helps to be young and pretty, but I think Elaine did a great job making the makeup look very natural and not very “made up”

So pretty!

Janet also did an amazing job styling their hair.

And here are some more photos to share just because they are so cute!

Love the shoes!

All the best to you girls after your graduation! I am sure you are on to big and amazing things.

Jacky & Jessalyn

Here are a few from our other grad shoot today.  How adorable are these high school sweethearts?  We did a few shots in the studio, and headed to the very windy outdoors to a nearby Macs for a slush and more pics!  A very sweet shoot including icecream & slush!

We got a few shots on our couch, I love backlit pictures.

Janet also did Jacky’s hair! Looks pretty cool.

I think she looks like a ballerina here.

Another shot taken in our studio, I like how they look so relaxed and natural.

A fun shot through a car window.

Here is the slush!  Elaine even bought one to match her dress!

Can you believe this is a Macs store?  They have really nice wrought iron patio furniture here.  Janet & I were driving around scoping out potential places for pictures and found this one.

Driving back, we passed by this pond/marsh area and stopped to take a few pictures.
