Doesn’t she look absolutely beautiful?  This mommy-to-be is red-carpet ready!

We like to mix it up and have some fun for maternity sessions.
Can’t wait to meet your little one!

Here are the rest of the photos I promised! And first, his AMAZING cake!  His mom special-ordered the cake topper (the cute elmo figurine holding the cake with a “1″) from Singapore!  One of the mom’s friends made this cake, we will have to get her number for our kids’ future cakes. :)

Check out how many cute outfits he had.  This is from his one-year session. There is a different outfit in each photo.  His mommy was super organized and had all the outfits planned in advance and changed him so fast, he didn’t even get a chance to fuss.  Super Mom!

I looked back and he also had so many cute outfits from his 6-Month (Actually 8-Month) Session.  It is usually unheard of to get so many outfit changes on a baby (they usually fuss after the 2nd or 3rd change) but this happy baby and super mom combo made it happen…twice!
I really love doing the “Watch me as I grow” package.   As parents we don’t really notice the change in our own kids because it is so gradual, but as a photographer, when I see them every 6 months, I really notice the differences and try to capture them.  My husband says why I didn’t do these for my own daughter…it was because before I realized how much she grew it was too late!

I couldn’t decide which cake photos to post because they were all so ADORABLE, so here are a bunch.  There are more really cute ones, but I had to restrain myself from posting them all.Well, okay, here are a few more.

And after some cake, baby needs a bath!  Sigh, look at that little angelic face, he was such a joy and pleasure to photograph(even when he was feeling a bit under the weather, those yucky one-year shots) we loved meeting him and wish you all the best!  Thanks for letting us be a part of your first year!

I just HAD to post a few photos of our session today.  This little guy totally brightened our day and I still smile when I look back at these pictures.  I hope mom and dad love them as much as we do!  I will do another post as I finish editing the rest, but here are a few just because I couldn’t wait to share these:

Look at his bubble “Mickey Ears”!

And a preview of his amazing cake…I will post more tomorrow!

Edmonton Family Session

February 15, 2010

A typical photo session lasts anywhere from 30min-1 hour (not including newborn sessions), but these kids were so good, they lasted for 2 hours!  We usually end a session when the kids have had enough, but with these two, we could have kept going!

Happy and chubby little 7 month old baby boy. One of my favorite ages to photograph (they can’t get away!)

Look at that great hair!

Such a sweet little girl.  Two and a half is normally a very difficult age to photograph, but she was an exception.  She was so patient with us and let us put her in multiple outfits without complaining.
