I strongly recommend on-location sessions for families with little boys.  You can then see them in “action”, being who they really are, jumping, playing, running…and you get genuine smiles and laughter.  These two little boys were no exception and loved being outside at Kinsmen park in Edmonton.  There were playgrounds, bubbles, super slides, a picnic and painting!  We had a blast and hope you did too!

Happy, energetic, independent and smart big brother.  He knew the words carnivore, omnivore, and excavate…I’d say that is a pretty advanced vocabulary for a four year old!

Look at those soulful eyes.  Baby brother was so easy going and sweet.  Whatever activity we introduced, he was totally absorbed and patiently did whatever we wanted him to do until we said “next”.  From digging in the sand, to painting, he loved it all!

Those are some awesome trucks! I saw some other kids at the park eyeing them.

Great job Mom on bringing some “photogenic” food!  That snack looks delicious…and healthy too!

The boys did a great job painting on the canvas!  It looks like Lucas is saying, “I have an idea!” I think you may have an artist on your hands Mom!

A priceless work of art.  Hope you enjoy the painting for years to come!

6 Month Session

So cute, I love how kisses from mummy gave him an imprint on his cheek.

This season, the slouchy, rolled pant is everywhere!  It’s great also because since they’re so loose, you can wear them in the summer, look hip, and not melt to death!  So it took me awhile to figure out how to properly wear these pants…

The first thing I learned is, the BIGGER, the better :)   I first tried to roll the pant legs of my regular dress pants… but this just looked really silly.  Then I found a pair of  size 14  pants at RW&Co. on the sale rack for $10!  SO I got these, and they worked SO much better!  You can probably even take your boyfriend/husband’s dress pants and do this too.  I like them bigger too because you can scrunch the top and have the paper-bag look. Here’s two examples of pants I found that work well…
