This season, the slouchy, rolled pant is everywhere! It’s great also because since they’re so loose, you can wear them in the summer, look hip, and not melt to death! So it took me awhile to figure out how to properly wear these pants…
The first thing I learned is, the BIGGER, the better
I first tried to roll the pant legs of my regular dress pants… but this just looked really silly. Then I found a pair of size 14 pants at RW&Co. on the sale rack for $10! SO I got these, and they worked SO much better! You can probably even take your boyfriend/husband’s dress pants and do this too. I like them bigger too because you can scrunch the top and have the paper-bag look. Here’s two examples of pants I found that work well…
So when I first tried rolling my cuff, I just rolled it the regular way, but it looked really silly because the cuff was too big! It didn’t look right! I wanted that baggy pant look, but with the cuff that kind of scrunched around your leg. So to get that look, here’s a few tips:
1) Pull the bottom of the pant leg out away from your leg
2) Hold the pant against your leg and fold the excess pant over.
3) Roll up one or two times.
Here’s a few pictures of some before and after pictures of pants unrolled, and rolled (Or shall I say styled
And last but not least, don’t forget about little details like looping your belt, adding a necklace, or even a bright nail polish! My next post will be about necklaces so stay tuned
Oh.. and I couldn’t resist putting this picture up of sweet Emily
She wanted to be in on the fashion shoot too.. lol
Till next time!

This is great! I have a really loose pair of jeans (who knows why I bought a larger size than usual!) that I never wear because they are way to baggy, but now rolled up, they’re comfy AND stylish!
Thanks Janet!
